Mark Pazin has spent a lifetime keeping us safe, as a deputy sheriff, elected sheriff, and as the Law Enforcement Chief of the California Office of Emergency Services under Governors Jerry Brown and Gavin Newsom. He believes in less taxation, fiscally responsible government, safe neighborhoods, increased water storage and reducing regulations on farms and small businesses in order to create good-paying jobs, and he has a comprehensive plan to reduce homelessness.
As a former Sheriff, Mark Pazin has zero tolerance for exploding crime in our community. He opposes letting violent felons out of jail early, and supports longer sentences for meth and opiate dealers, smash and grab robbers, and child molesters.
