Mark Pazin has spent a lifetime keeping us safe, as a deputy sheriff, elected sheriff, and as the Law Enforcement Chief of the California Office of Emergency Services under Governors Jerry Brown and Gavin Newsom. He believes in less taxation, fiscally responsible government, safe neighborhoods, increased water storage and reducing regulations on farms and small businesses in order to create good-paying jobs, and he has a comprehensive plan to reduce homelessness.
I’ll demand the federal government secure the border to stop the drugs and human trafficking.
I’ll work to end Sanctuary City policies so that we can deport illegal immigrant felons instead of letting them out of jail and back into our community.
I’ll fight the “Defund the Police” movement and make sure we have enough police and deputy sheriffs to keep us safe.
I’ll be on the front lines getting rid of state policies that let felons out of jail early and root out policies that hobble law enforcement from arresting and prosecuting criminals.
I support the biggest middle-class tax cut in California history, the elimination of the Gas Tax, oppose any new or higher taxes, and will protect Prop 13. I have signed the “No New Taxes” pledge.
I will fight to reduce the increasing cost of food, gas, and other staples by fixing supply chain problems, and reducing the wild spending that is driving prices up which will bankrupt the next generation.
I’ll work to finally make the state require the homeless who are mentally ill or drug-addicted to get long-term treatment, off the street.
I will help to push state and local government to clean up the filthy, dangerous homeless camps and keep our people and property safe while we get the homeless into treatment.
I’ll fight to make sure our farms and families finally get the water we deserve, so we can protect good-paying local jobs.
I strongly support reducing unfair taxes and regulations on small businesses, so that more of them can open, or hire new people.
California schools were recently ranked 44th in the nation: we need to give teachers all the resources they need but get back to basics: math, reading, and writing. I strongly support school choice and more parental rights.
As a former Sheriff, Mark Pazin has zero tolerance for exploding crime in our community. He opposes letting violent felons out of jail early, and supports longer sentences for meth and opiate dealers, smash and grab robbers, and child molesters.
Mark Pazin knows our daily cost of living is out of control. That’s why he supports cutting unfair taxes on everything from gas to food to diapers - so you can keep more of your hard-earned money to pay the bills.
Mark Pazin signed a “no new taxes” pledge and is a proud defender of Prop 13 which keeps property taxes low and helps to keep housing affordable for homeowners and renters.
Mark Pazin will remove and clean up dangerous homeless camps, require the homeless to get addiction or mental health treatment and make sure law enforcement keeps us and our property safe while we fix the problem.
The National Guard is important to our safety, with California having the largest Guard unit in the United States. Mark knows the importance of having the very best trained and equipped units for prompt mobilization for national emergencies as needed.
Mark also knows the importance of adjustment when returning home from deployment. Mark will provide the proper staffing to assist those returning home with the resources they need to reenter the civilian workforce, and work with federal agencies when it is necessary to handle any service connected claims.
