Mark Pazin has spent a lifetime keeping us safe, as a deputy sheriff, elected sheriff, and as the Law Enforcement Chief of the California Office of Emergency Services under Governors Jerry Brown and Gavin Newsom. He believes in less taxation, fiscally responsible government, safe neighborhoods, increased water storage and reducing regulations on farms and small businesses in order to create good-paying jobs, and he has a comprehensive plan to reduce homelessness.
California schools were recently ranked 44th in the nation: we need to give teachers all the resources they need but get back to basics: math, reading, and writing. I strongly support school choice and more parental rights.
