It’s time to be blunt: the majority of homeless have problems with drug addiction or mental health. Letting them live and die on the streets is not an answer. We need to require treatment – and get those facilities up and running NOW. At the same time, we need to clean up the dangerous, filthy camps which have become ground zero for disease, drug sales, and prostitution.
