Siaka Massaquoi (pronounced see-ah-kah mass-uh-kwuh) has been a Hollywood actor for over 15 years. During Covid lockdown in 2020, Siaka saw all the chaos and lies being told by mainstream media and started speaking out. He got involved by attending Trump rallies in Beverly Hills and supporting the California recall of Gavin Newsom. Thanks to a Freedom of Information Act request by Judicial Watch, Siaka found out he was on a secret list by the Secretary of State to censor him on social media. Like many Americans in 2021, Siaka was raided by the FBI for simply being in D.C. on January 6th. Up to now, no charges have ever been filed, and his belongings have yet to be returned. It was this incredible violation of his rights and privacy in addition to a very clear call from God that convicted him to run for local office, recognizing that today is the day of the dutiful citizen once again. Siaka officially put his name in the hat for California State Assembly, District 43, and has been beating the pavement ever since with features on PragerU, OAN, American Faith Network, Newsmax, The Babylon Bee podcast and countless other credible media sources.
Here in Los Angeles, we have watched crime rise to historic proportions. Homicides are up 47% and Violent Crimes are up 86%. The cause is linked directly to failed bail reform policies, allowing criminals back on the street the same day, and defunding the police, which has put our neighborhoods and communities in the crosshairs of criminals. Criminals are not held accountable while everyday citizens have an uphill battle for justice, if they receive it at all. I pledge that when I am in office, the rights of the victim will supersede the rights of the criminal!
Homelessness in Los Angeles has become big business. It is a humanitarian crisis in our own city that needs to be addressed honestly. Patch work programs that only try to house the homeless miss the mark on the true issue: mental health. We need more mental health programs like the ones offered at Midnight Mission on skid row. These programs teach a man how to fish, while reconnecting them with family and loved ones. We can’t continue to treat the homeless as a single, faceless mass because they are individual people: a mother, a father, a brother, or a sister. As your elected official, these are the solutions I will fight tooth and nail for.
California has the highest taxes in the nation, highest gas prices in the nation, and second highest housing cost in the nation while food costs continue to rise. The average Angeleno cannot afford to sustain this current path. As government continues to grow bigger and bigger and simultaneously over-reaches into our lives more and more, it tightens the squeeze on the average person’s ability to make ends meet. To make matters worse, the current California State Assembly members are working on impeding Angelenos’ potential to even qualify for work.
For the past 2 years, Angelenos have watched the government overstep the bounds of what was previously sanctified to the family for hundreds of years. A parent has the right to decide what’s best for their child, not the State. The choice is yours, and I will fight for that God-given right of all parents.
