I am a man of faith. I trust God for all things, and I do my best to follow Him. This leads me to desire to care for others in my community. I have been involved in many community service efforts throughout the years, mostly through the church I attended. I participated in the relief efforts in Mississippi after Hurricane Katrina to serve the local community in Bay St. Louis. I’ve encouraged my employees and brought a dozen of them with us to help stuff backpacks for the needy at Giving Children Hope in Fullerton, CA over the years. My wife and I have assisted in different food and clothing ministries for the poor and homeless.
Crime is out of control. Our County District Attorney is far more interested in coddling criminals than putting them in prison.
Face it, the cost of living is too high. We have to work longer and longer hours while earning less and less.
Our streets, parks and neighborhoods have been turned into vast wastelands of encampments resembling something right out of the movie “Escape from New York”.
It’s time to develop thoughtful, caring treatment programs for those addicted to substance abuse.
We can no longer tolerate simply handing them a room key without providing the treatment they need to become productive members of society.
My rallying cry for California education is “Parents and students FIRST”. Parents should decide their child’s education. We need parental choice; we need school choice.
I will work to provide relief to California tax payers by advocating and working toward reducing the wasteful spending in government, reducing taxes, and cutting business killing regulations. In these times we need a lean and efficient government that is pro business in order to help our communities thrive and help the citizens have opportunities for success.
We should have a secure border, while at the same time we need to couple that with immigration reform. We need to fix the system so that families that are here, working, being responsible, and contributing to our society have a legal means of living and working here. We need to make it easier to deport those that are here committing crimes and harming our society. And lastly, we need to have a more robust and transparent vetting process to that we know who everyone is that we allow in.
All voters want their vote to count. We need to have real and open conversations about the state of our election system in California, where the problems are, and what we can do to make sure our elections are more secure, for the benefit of the voter.
Crime is out of control. Our County District Attorney is far more interested in coddling criminals than putting them behind bars.
We witnessed the senseless cold-blooded murder of two El Monte Police Officers because that same District Attorney released a hardened criminal back onto the streets.
It didn’t have to be!
Mitch is opposed to eliminating cash bail. He believes in tough sentencing laws. Those who prey upon our society and kids must be locked away.
