I have worked on several projects like the new 11th street overpass. We just received a $25M grant for a new HWY 580 bridge. I’m continually working on improving congestion and traffic issues within our city as well as in our region and state. I spearheaded and implemented the first effort for broadband 6 years ago as the city made repairs or install new roads while laying down new network cable conduit. As vice-chair of the Transportation, Communications, and Public Works Policy Committee of the CA Leagues of Cities, I will make sure Tracy’s interests are part of the discussion. Transportation, infrastructure improvements, telecommunications, broadband deployment, bike safety and other issues are discussed and to influence policy in Sacramento as well as in Washington DC with advice and recommendations to the legislature
