I grew up in a little town outside of Flint, Michigan. My dad ran a trucking/logistics company with my grandpa, and my mom mostly raised myself and my sister. As my sister and I got older, my mom went back to school, eventually becoming a teacher in Flint, then a teacher and principal at a local Catholic school.
Teachers have been consistantly put in an unwinnable position. Overworked, underpaid, open to constant criticism, my campaign will give teachers the tools they need to build the workforce of tomorrow.
College is not for everyone, but education is. Trade schools, boot camps and other developmental opportunities can help everyone achieve the life they deserve.
Regardless of path, the goal is to build, maintain, and grow world-class educational facilities.
