Peter Verbica was born in San Jose, California. He earned a bachelor's degree from Santa Clara University in 1983 and a graduate degree from Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 1992. He also earned a J.D. from Santa Clara University School of Law in 1999. As of 2022, Verbica was the managing director at Silicon Private Wealth and Viant Capital. He also worked as an adjunct professor of economics at San Jose State University.
